Ron created this 1.5 ounce silver medal at the request of his father, Harold Landis, who distributed them to his Rho Delta fraternity brothers. Rho Delta was formed at Bradley University in Peoria Illinois by older veteran students who had just returned from service in WWII. The fraternity became part of Delta Upsilon in 1951.
The medal features a depiction of the Rho Delta fraternity house in Peoria and the DU coat of arms on reverse.
The mintage is quite low on this piece. Ron believes less than 100 exist.
