Prototype Thumb Pick, Landis Original

Made entirely from scratch, this pick is an early prototype made while Ron did real-time R&D preparing for the eventual die-struck wide and narrow band thumb picks offered as our retail varieties. The grippers in this pick are weak. It took Ron a long time to brave the sharper teeth that are well defined in our retail picks, and full on prickly teeth (still comfortable) that became his standard in custom picks.
 
Choose whether you want this AS-IS, the way Ron left it on the work bench after playing, or I can hand finish the piece as I would for final presentation, matte finished inside, patina and polished outside.
