Novelty State Quarter

A later version of the infamous 'Clinton Quarter".
The earlier versions had "CLOSE QUARTER on the obverse, this one displays "FRENCH QUARTER"
These were struck under contract for a novelty company and not sold or distributed directly by us, at least not when anyone was looking. These were struck over genuine US quarters and as such have turned up in vending machines.
